Hi Kristin,
Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. I love the idea of going to Walt Disney World to celebrate your boys' birthdays! Be sure to stop by Guest Relations at any of the four Disney theme parks to pick up a "Happy Birthday" button for each boy to wear on his birthday. These buttons are free of charge. Although no special treatment is guaranteed with the birthday button, you never know when a little extra pixie dust might be sprinkled on your vacation. My daughter received a huge birthday cupcake at the Plaza Restaurant at the Magic Kingdom while wearing a birthday button for her seventh birthday.
As to must-do activities, I think that depends a lot on your boys and their unique interests. I suggest that you order the free
Walt Disney World planning DVD. If your boys watch this, they can start to give you an idea of what each of them is the most interested in doing. Then, you can have them make
customized maps of the Disney theme parks with the attractions that appeal to them the most. These maps will be mailed to you at home, and you can use them as a guide to begin planning.
You may find that there is a
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party during the time that you visit. Although it is early, this event often runs in November, and is a lot of fun, including unique holiday entertainment. It might be a good way to celebrate your boys' birthday.
I hope that these thoughts give you a start to planning your vacation, Kristin. Please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions.
