first trip to disney 8/23-8/30/11. two children (3 & 7 mos.) how can we keep things as cool as possible for everyone, while spending maximum time in the parks? and what are crowds like during this time?

    Hi Cassandra,

August is definitely hot in Orlando.  If you are prepared then you and your little ones will be ok!

Dress them in light clothes-make sure everyone has sunscreen, hat and sunglasses help as well.
My kids love their Mickey Mouse squirt bottle with fan.  Keep everyone hydrated with drinking water!

Go inside when you can.  When you have your meals, go inside, rest and recuperate.  Go to attractions that are inside as well.

Start your day at one of the parks and then head back to your resort for the afternoon, when the sun is at its highest.  Have a nap, go to the pool, have lunch at your resort. Then head back to the parks in the late afternoon, early evening.

    Thank you for your question.

    Have a magical vacation!
