Hello, this is my first trip to Disney, travelling with my 12yr old son. I am overwhelmed by all of the different types of vacation packages available. Can you please recommend a few nice (not too overpriced) hotels/resorts to help with my decision.

    Hi Carol!!!

Thank you so much for your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel!!  We are gladly here to help ease any overwhelming feelings or thoughts you might have about your Walt Disney World Vacation Planning!

I do have great news for you.  Regardless of which Disney Resort you stay in, you will receive all the first class amenities and Disney Resort Benefits that staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel offers!!!  I would definitely recommend staying at either a Disney Value Resort or a Disney Moderate Resort to help save you some money.  These resorts are much more inexpensive the Disney Deluxe or Deluxe Villa Resorts.  All of the Disney Value and Moderate Resorts offer fun theming and great pools!!!  Based on my knowledge and experience, I would suggest staying at either Disney's Pop Century Resort (Value) or Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort (Moderate).

Another side note about booking a Walt Disney World Vacation is that I would recommend adding the Park Hopper Option to your Magic Your Way Tickets.  This way, you have the flexibility to "hop" between multiple theme parks in a day and you are not bound to staying at the same theme park all day.

Please let me know if you have any additional questions that I can help answer!!

    Have a magical day!!
