My FIRST trip to Disney is very soon! The excitement is unmatched as I count down to our adventure, but I am worried about 2 things. The first is if I’ll be allowed in with my service stuffie, and the second being if my HerUniverse Belle dress is allowed

Hey there, Hi there, Ho there, Kourtney!

You're as welcome as can be here at planDisney! Thank you for sending me your question because it seems like you, Minnie, and I share a very specific passion for fashion!

One thing that I've always loved about the Her Universe line is that it blends fashion, function, and Disney magic seamlessly. Whenever I wander around the parks, I spot heaps of HerUniverse pieces. While I may not know exactly which version of Belle's dresses you're specifically referring to, I'm confident that anything from this brand will fit right into the dress code at the Walt Disney World Resort.

As for your service stuffie, I know that guests regularly bring stuffies, Duffys, and other sentimental items to snap photos with their beloved characters or in front of iconic scenery. Just make sure that your stuffie adheres to the size and limitations specified in the list of prohibited items. Keep in mind that security has the final say on what's allowed into the resort, so it's always at their discretion. But as long as your stuffie meets the guidelines, it shouldn't be a problem!

By the way, Kourtney, have you heard of the Disability Access Service (DAS)? This service is tailor-made for guests who might need a little extra consideration while enjoying the attractions. There's no need for a doctor's note – just hop onto a live video chat to pre-register between 2 and 30 days before your visit, which conveniently falls within your current timeframe!

If you'd rather give Disability Services a call directly, you can reach them at (407) 560-2547, or shoot them an email at disability.services@disneyparks.com. They're like Disney's very own fairy godmothers, always ready to lend a helping hand.

Thanks again for bringing your question here to me, Kourtney. It's such a treat when best friends meet, so come on back if you have any more questions or would like more of my favorite tips!

Thank you for putting my service to the test,
    Danielle
