Our first trip to Disney (Oct 31-Nov 5). We have the 5 day hopper pass but our flight on the 31st won't be in until 2:00. Any ideas on how to spend 1/2 day. Which Park? Dining? Our daughters are 17, 14 and 11. Thanks!

    Hi Wendy,
This is a little tricky since the Magic Kingdom will be closing at 7 p.m. for the Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. Usually a great choice would be Epcot because it is the park that is opened the latest, however it will be more crowded due to Evening Extra Magic Hours which are offered from 9 p.m. until midnight. Since you are not traveling with young children, this might be the place for your family to go. Just realize that resort guests are eligible for Extra Magic Hours and many will be touring Epcot that evening. If you like to stay up late, your family could get a great deal of touring in from about 5 p.m. until midnight!

Animal Kingdom is closes too early at 5 p.m. for your family to enjoy. Hollywood Studios is open until 7 p.m. which might be an option with a 7 p.m. showing of Fantasmic, if you want an earlier evening in order to get ready for your first full day.

I would make an Advance Dining Reservation at 50's Prime Time Cafe in Hollywood Studios or at any of the wonderful restaurants in World Showcase at Epcot (San Angel Inn, Le Cellier, Coral Reef).
