HI there and first trip to Disney for a long time (10 years??). Can you tell me the travel time to Magic Kingdom from Old Key West? And if we are coming in late at night (10:30 pm) is it worth taking the shuttle or should we just get a cab? Thanks!!

    Hi Carolyn,

How have you managed to stay away for so long? Let me be the first to say to you 'Welcome Home'

To answer your question, it takes approximately 20 minutes to travel between Magic Kingdom and Disney's Old Key West Resort. If you are planning on using Disney's complimentary transportation then you would also need to factor in time spent waiting for the next Bus to arrive. (Buses usually run every 20 minutes or so)

The absolutely quickest way to get back to your resort would of course be to take a cab but I myself am a big fan of using Disney's transportation. We have always found it to be both reliable and frequent and would have no hesitation in recommending it to you. It really does provides an excellent service to resort guests.

    Wishing you a magical trip!
