Hello. This is our first trip to Disney with our kids 8 & 5 yrs old .I have booked our travel for November so we have 10 months. Any suggestions on what I can work on planning this far in advance? Thanks so much!!

    Hello Michele,

How exciting to be planning your family's first Disney vacation! And it's never too early to start preparing.

I love to eat. So making my Advance Dining Reservations for our next trip is a big deal. You can make reservations as early as 180 days prior to your vacation. So you can start securing a spot for meals in early May. If you haven't done so already, take a look at the restaurant list. You can search by location, cuisine, and dining experience. That way, you're ready to book!

Since you are going in November, have you considered going to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party? Or will you be in Florida while the Food and Wine Festival will be taking place? If so, you can start doing your research on these two great events!

My last tip is for when you arrive. Don't forget to pick up a complimentary First Visit button so that everyone knows of your special occasion! You never know what kind of Pixie Dust may be waiting because of it.

Hope this helps. Enjoy your trip!

My family loves our Main Street in Ohio. But there's simply no comparison to Main Street U.S.A.! We don't get to Disney quite as often as I'd like, but that just means finding new ways to sprinkle Pixie Dust on our adventures! Learn More About Monina
