It's our first trip to Disney, with kids ages 6 and 8. We have Park Hopper with waterpark tickets and have 4.5 days to visit parks. We are trying to decide which order we should see the 4 theme parks in? Any suggestions? Thanks!

    Hello, Brenda!

A first family trip to Walt Disney World is truly a magical thing, for Guests of all ages!

For my family, we've decided long ago that we have to see Magic Kingdom Park first on our trips to WDW. With Cinderella Castle as a most spectacular background, as well as so many classic favorite characters and attractions in this park, you'll truly feel the wonder of WDW by heading to Magic Kingdom first.

Next, you may want to head over to Disney's Hollywood Studios because there are many attractions and shows that your little ones will want to see there, too. After that, I suggest either Epcot or Animal Kingdom Park. Both of these parks tend to be where we'll spend a morning, then head back to our resort for swimming. We like to head back into Epcot, too, in the evening, to stroll around the countries. If you're trying to decide what to do on the evening of a day at a water park, then a return to Epcot or Magic Kingdom Park might be the perfect compliment to end your day.

If you'd like more specific suggestions, send me the interests of your kids (Boys into Car and pirates? Girls into princesses?) dates of your travel, and I'll check the parks' hours, events, etc. and give you a more exact set of suggested schedules.

No matter what, you're going to have a wonderful family vacation in Walt Disney World! Woo hoo!
