We are going on our first trip to Disney Feb 6-14, 2008. We purchased the dining plan. From what I've read the crowds are low at that time. Do I still need to make dinner reservations now, or will it be okay to wait until the night we arrive? Thanks.

Hi Denise.   You are correct that this time of year crowds should be relatively low.   Despite this, I strong suggest making reservations for any dining that is a "must".   Even during non-peak times of the year, restaurants can become completely booked and walk-up reservations difficult to get.

I suggest you identify those dining experiences you don't want to miss and make reservations in advance.   You can always choose to cancel in case your plans change.    Just be careful in case you select any dining shows that require an advance purchase (like the Hoop Dee Doo Musical Review - a family favorite).   These can also be canceled, however, you do need to provide a few days advance notice.

Last item - Since you have purchased the dining plan, I want to make sure you had this helpful link which explains the dining plan.   I find it to be one of the more comprehensive overview of how it works.    Enjoy your trip!
