Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Courtney! I'm excited to hEAR that you're visiting the Walt Disney World Resort for the first time this fall. My younger son has been a Princess fan his whole life and the smile on his face when he met Princess Belle was priceless. I can't wait for you to experience the same joy as a Mama; it is truly the Disney Magic in real time.
My family and I love
Character Dining! One of my first recommendations would be the
Bon Voyage Adventure Breakfast. This Character Dining (only available during breakfast) is held at
Trattoria al Forno at
Disney's BoardWalk and features Rapunzel, Flynn Rider, Ariel and Prince Eric. Since it is not within a theme park, this is a good choice on a "rest" day or prior to entering Epcot or Disney's Hollywood Studios because of its location.
Another of our family favorite's is
Cinderella's Royal Table located in Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom Park. If you are using the
Disney Dining Plan, this meal does use 2 table service entitlements, but we felt it was worth it. On a week-long trip this meal topped my husband's favorite list not only because of the food, but the iconic setting. Here you will meet classic Disney Princesses including Cinderella. The website notes that specific Princess appearances are subject to change, but last time we visited we met Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Snow White and Princess Jasmine.
Finally, since you have a
Frozen fan, some must-do Frozen favorites are found at Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios. At the Norway Pavilion in the World Showcase in Epcot,
Meet Anna and Elsa at Royal Sommerhus. Currently the sisters are adorned in their updated outfits from Frozen 2! Only a few steps from this Character Meeting, you can ride
Frozen Ever After. Moving over to Disney's Hollywood Studios, I wouldn't miss
For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration. This is a hilarious show told by Arendelle Royal Historians. After the show, you can
get a warm hug from none other than Olaf himself. And, if you are wanting a little extra pixie dust for your vacation, check out the
Frozen Ever After Dessert Party. For an additional fee, you can enjoy sweet, Frozen themed treats with a reserved fireworks viewing and a ride on Frozen Ever After with no waiting! An ending like that might just be enough to thaw a Frozen heart.
Courtney, however you spend your days at the Most Magical Place on Earth, I hope you have an unforgettable time with your little boy for his 5th birthday. Come back and see us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with any other questions!
