This is our first trip to Disney for my entire family! My son will be turning 3 on our second park day. Will he need a ticket?

    Hi Kelly!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I'm so happy to be able to help you and your family get ready for your first trip to Walt Disney World Resort, the perfect place to celebrate your little Mouseketeer's birthday! I am happy to tell you that the age you will use for your tickets is based on your son's age the first time you use his ticket (or at check-in, if you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel). So since your son will be turning 3 years old on your second park day, he will not need a ticket for you upcoming trip.

Be sure to pick up First Visit celebration buttons from Guest Relations to wear during your trip so Cast Members and other Guests can help make sure your visit is fantastic. And your birthday boy can get a Birthday celebration button so that Cast Members and other Guests can give him plenty of birthday wishes! Feel free to come back and see us if you have any other questions.

    T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!

Hi! I’m Crystal and I’m a wife and mommy to three little Mouseketeers. My husband and I have been enjoying Disney Parks since before we were married, and now we take our children to see Mickey and the gang as often as we can, while  managing my oldest son's food allergies. Planning is key for my family to ensure that everyone has a safe and fun trip to our favorite place and it can be just as exciting as the trip itself. I can’t wait to help you plan your next adventure there, too! Learn More About Crystal
