Hi, this is our first trip to Disney, we will be there during Halloween time, would any one recommend purchasing Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween? We are a family of 5. Myself, my husband, 19 yr old daughter, 15 yr old daughter and 14 yr old son.

    Hi Matthew,

If your kids enjoy getting dressed up for some good-natured fun, then they will love Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party.  You will all get to see the headless horseman in the parade and trick-or-treat throughout the Magic Kingdom for tasty treats.  If you enjoy having your pictures taken with Disney characters that rarely appear in the theme parks or resorts, well that's another reason to attend this special event.

My dear friend and colleague, Deborah, from the Moms Panel loves this annual event.  She wrote a great review of the party for the Orbitz blog.  If you go to www.orbitz.com/blog and search "Disney Halloween," her article, "Disney Vacations:  A Month of Mischief and Mayhem," will appear.  If you read this article, I think your family will be able to make a more informed choice regarding the purchase of Halloween party tickets at Walt Disney World.

If you do decide to attend the party, buy your tickets in advance as this popular event often sells out.

Wishing you a spooktacular visit to Walt Disney World this fall!
