Hi Michelle, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with such great plans!
The first step is to choose
the perfect Disney Hotel for your trip. Whether it's a beautiful Value Hotel like Disney's Art of Animation Resort, a Royal Room at a Moderate Resort like Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside or a luxurious room at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, this vacation will surely be amazing.
Staying at a Disney Hotel brings
many benefits, but my favorite is the early access to
FastPass+ planning. It will give you an advantage when the time to make FastPass+ reservations comes, and grabbing them for coveted attractions is a huge time saver.
After your hotel reservation is secured, it will be time to
purchase your tickets, choosing between the 1 Park Per Day, the Park Hopper or the Park Hopper Plus options. You will also have to choose the number of days you wish to spend at the Theme Parks, and I'd suggest a total of six or seven days for an AWESOME first trip.
The first two steps are not as time sensitive as the next two:
making dining reservations 180 days ahead of your arrival and making FastPass+ arrangements 60 days before your first Theme Park day. Because of that, I'd suggest deciding on hotels and tickets at least 210 days before your trip so you have time to plan and get great dining reservations.
The Disney Parks Moms Panel will be here to walk you through every step of this amazing journey, so don't hesitate to stop by with more questions!
May the magic be with you,
Julie
