This our first trip to Disney and our only chance to stay in a deluxe resort. Our children are 12,9,8,and 6. Do you recommend the Polynesian or Boardwalk for the best expierience. We will be there for 9 days in April.

    Hi Julia!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Both are fabulous places to stay.  Personally I would pick the Polynesian based on the ages of your children.  The Polynesian Resort is on the Magic Kingdom monorail line giving you easy access to the Magic Kingdom and, via a monorail transfer, easy access to Epcot.  In fact, you can walk from the Polynesian to the Transportation and Ticket Center to get on the monorail to Epcot faster.

The Polynesian has two great restaurants, a dinner show, a nice Quick Service location, and a great pool with a nice water slide.  You can also rent a lot of different kinds of boats right there at the resort to take out on Seven Seas Lagoon.  My family and I just stayed there again this past February and we all absolutely loved it.

Good luck with your decision, and please write back with more questions!
