    First trip to disney in August. Staying . At present booked in on the counter service dining plan, unsure whether to upgrade, to the dining plan or the deluxe dining plan. Have already prebooked dining reservations at some popular restaurants,

    I generally recommend that families get the standard dining plan, especially if you've already got plans to dine at several table service restaurants. In most cases, the deluxe dining plan isn't necessary - I only recommend it if you plan to use at least two table service credits per person per day.

    I'm not sure how long you are staying, but if you think you'll be using about one table service credit per day, the standard dining plan is likely to save you money.
