We have our first trip booked with our 2 kids Jan 23rd. We have purchased the hopper pass including water parks and the dining plus plan. I have been trying to book meals according to what park we are at that day, does that make sense? Any tips?

    Hi Chassity,

Hooray for your first Walt Disney World vacation!

Yes, it makes absolute sense to plan your meals around your touring itinerary. In addition, if you return to your resort for an afternoon break, you could also schedule a dinner at a resort hotel or Downtown Disney on your way back to a park for the evening. Of course, in January you will have to watch your schedule as the parks close earlier than the rest of the year. Late January is one of my favorite times to visit due to the low crowds though!

For example, if you headed to the Magic Kingdom, you could schedule dinner at a restaurant in the park or walk over to the Contemporary Resort for a dinner at Chef Mickey's. Of if you have been at the Magic Kingdom all day, you could exit, take the boat to the Wilderness Lodge and dine at Whispering Canyon Cafe before heading back to your resort for the evening.

If you need tips on places to dine, let me know your kids ages, and where you are staying. I'd be happy to help further!
