first timers e at WDW celebrating my husband and daughter birthdays' my daughter just turned 4 and my son is almost 3. I have three days of park which I have selected Epcot, A Kingdom and M kingdom. should I change Epcot for Hollywood s? arrival is 01/04

    Hello Angie,

First of all, happy early birthday to both your husband and daughter. What better place to celebrate such wonderful occasions than a first time trip Walt Disney World. Your family is going to have such a magical time and, hopefully, so much fun that you go back again and again.

For your children's ages, I think Magic Kingdom and Disney's Animal Kingdom are perfect choices. There are so many fun and interactive things for them to see and do at both of those parks. However, Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios are both a bit of a toss up for that age, but you might find a few more shows and attractions that better suit the younger ages at Disney's Hollywood Studios. With Toy Story Mania, Journey of the Little Mermaid, Muppet*Vision 3D, and Disney Junior - Live on Stage!, they are sure to enjoy their time there. Keep in mind that there are also several attractions that they probably won't make the height minimums for.

Another alternative would be to go back to either Magic Kingdom or Disney's Animal Kingdom on the last day for a second time at one of those parks. This way you could go see those attractions that became favorites and maybe even see more of the park that you might have missed the first time around.

I hope this helps you in your planning process. Please note that this is my personal opinion and you are the best judge of your family's likes and interests.

Have a blast and say hi to Mickey for me!
