Hi, We are first timers. we have set a date for 5/2013. We will be staying at the Wyndam Bonnet Creek resort. Can we do extra magic hours? Besides planning for special meals do we have to book special shows etc ahead of time.

Thank you for visiting the Moms Panel!

All the shows at the theme parks (see full details here), such as Beauty and the Beast, Fantasmic! (unless you wish to book a Fantasmic! Meal Package), Lights, Motors, Action! Extreme Stunt Show, Festival of the Lion King, and all the parades and fireworks do not require pre-booking. When you arrive at the theme park, be sure to pick up a copy of the TImes Guide, which will give you all the entertainment details for that day, including show times, so that you know when you need to arrive at your chosen shows.

Extra Magic Hours is only available to guests staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel.
