We are first timers going to Disney and I missed the boat getting my 6 year old daughter in for the dress up opportunity at BBB. Has anyone had the mermaid experience at the Pirate's League? Signed her up on the phone but can't find anything on line.

Hello Paul!  Welcome to the Disney Parks Mom´s Panel.

My six year old Merida loves to get pampered at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, but she also loves to become a Mermaid at The Pirates League.
Remember there also is a Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique at Downtown Disney, in a more relaxed setting.

My family has visited The Pirates League twice, first my daughter became an Empress pirate and last time a Mermaid - which she really enjoyed.  The make-up is quite unique and the pendant and hair-clip change color when exposed to sunlight.
The Pirates League is a really fun interactive experience for kids and Captain Jack´s Crew really makes the difference.  There are many pirate shirts, costumes and accessories to add, but dressing your kids accordingly will make for a great pirate look.

The Mermaid make-up takes on a light blue color, with some green hues.  The hair-clip and pendant change from white to a beautiful light purple.  My daughter really loved the make-up and still keeps the accessories - quite a feat!

The Pirates League is one of my kid´s favorite experiences at Walt Disney World, and they are already signed-up for this year vacation.

Happy to help you plan a magical Disney vacation.
