First timers coming in March. We have reservations for a character lunch and 2 other dinner reservations for our family of 4. Is it necessary to have dinner reservations for nighy if we want a sit down meal? It seems a lot of times are filled.

Hello, Suzanne! Your magical getaway is fast approaching – how exciting! Advance Dining Reservations can be made 180 days prior to your arrival. Many Guests do make their reservations right at that 180 day mark, so some of the more popular restaurants do book up quickly. Do not worry though, Suzanne - hakuna matata! You should still be able to find a seat at some wonderful restaurants your family is sure to enjoy. You can make Advance Dining Reservations online. Select the dates and times you would like and then click the green ‘Find a Table’ button. You will see all restaurants that have availability around the preferred time you requested. You may also call by phone (407) 939-5277 to make reservations. A wonderfully helpful Cast Member can assist you in finding some great dining options for your family. Keep in mind that if there is a restaurant that you really want to try and cannot get a reservation for now, keep checking back as other families do cancel their reservations as their plans may change. I would make reservations now for each day of your visit so you are guaranteed a table. This way you do not have to spend time during your day at the Park to find a location with availability. You do have 24 hours to cancel the reservations without penalty should you need to.

Wishing you and your family a magical and tasty vacation, Suzanne!

Hi, I’m Rachel! I am a “boy mom” to two rowdy little men at home and married to my high school sweetheart. I am fortunate enough that my prince charming loves all things Disney just as much as I do! For me, planning a trip to Walt Disney World can be just as magical as being there. It brings our family together as we dream, plan, and count down the days. I would be honored to help plan your visit and share in your family’s very own magic! Learn More About Rachel
