First timers coming in June--my older daughter 12 and my husband want to go to the water parks my little one 5 hates them--I don't want to split up due to all of our first time there--I want to see everything with my girls together--what do I do?

Does your 5 year old like to play in the sand?

Perhaps you could compromise and let your older daughter and husband go on the water slides, while you find a nice shady spot to let your younger child dig in the sand. Typhoon Lagoon is a nice beach-like atmosphere.

Maybe you could take a mid-stay break and let your husband and 12 year old venture to the water park, while you and your younger daughter have a relaxing morning at the resort. Depending on where you are staying, most resorts have lots of fun activities for kids of all ages.

I understand wanting to stay together the whole time but consider what kind of morning or half-day will make everyone happy and feel refreshed. A water park day/resort rest is a perfect way to recharge your family!
