We are first timers and on a budget. We are going mid Nov. for 9 days.Since we will be there quite a while,is the Park Hopper worth it?I feel like we will have plenty of time to see all the parks without that extra cost but not sure. Thanks!

Hi Heather.   Since you are staying for 9 days, no, the Park Hopper is likely not essential as long as prudently plan out your stay.   To start, I assume you are purchasing a base Magic Your Way ticket for roughly the length of your stay (9 days).    As you likely know already, without the Park Hopper you will be limited to visiting one park each day.   This includes not being able to use a second ticket for the same day at another park.

I find many folks add the Park Hopper option when they are staying for only a few days or so they can enjoy the fireworks or nighttime shows at another park later in the day.   In your case, given your length of stay, just make sure to enjoy the nighttime festivities on those days you do visit that park.   Based upon my experience, you make likely want to plan for multiple days at Magic Kingdom and Epcot, the two largest parks with the most activities.    Hopefully on either of those days you can enjoy the Wishes fireworks and Illuminations, two of my favorite nighttime attractions.

The other factor working in your favor is that you are apparently visiting in Mid-November and before the Thanksgiving holidays.  This is my favorite time to visit given both the limited crowds and nice weather.   Hope this helps and enjoy your trip!
