Awesome timing on the double birthday voyage, Kim!
You've got impeccable planning skills and celebrating 2 birthdays just means double the fun. My 2 kids love spending their birthdays onboard. One time, we even celebrated 3 birthdays when my Mother-in-law sailed with us. Needless to say, we had a lot of cake!
Guest Services on Deck 3 Midship can be your first stop - you can pick up special birthday pins. Disney guests and cast members love celebrating happy occasions. Your birthday celebrants will surely have some extra chEAR from everyone. Make sure you've noted that you are celebrating birthdays on your online check-in too. That note will reach your dining team and they'll also want to celebrate with you during your voyage. We like to celebrate one birthday at a time. That means a special birthday song and a special cake that your dining team prepares for your celebrant on an evening on your cruise. In your case, 2 separate evenings can be scheduled, just let your main server know who goes first and which night you'd like to celebrate it. There's no extra charge for this - you'll just have to deal with eating some extra dessert after dinner.
If you have an adult celebrating a birthday, have you checked out dining at
Palo or Remy? This would be a great treat as well. Another special touch would be to arrange special decorations in your stateroom. The
Birthday Celebration Package always brings on a big smile and a pleasant surprise! If you bring a photo mat and markers to Guest Services, you can arrange to get autographs from the Disney Characters. This will be delivered back to you on the last night of your cruise. This is a free souvenir that you can use to frame a special birthday photo from the cruise!
Have a great celebration with Captain Mickey! ~Dolly
