First timer here for WDW: can you get buses from Disney Springs to the parks? And can you get buses from park to park and hotel to hotel? Thank you!!

    Hi Rebecca! Welcome to planDisney!

Oh boy! Your very first time visiting the Walt Disney World Resort! I still think back fondly to my first visit, which also came as an adult, and remember how special that first trip was. It seemed like there was something exciting at every turn. What's even more amazing is that all these years later, it's still just as magical as the first time! I can't wait for you to experience it all!

Getting around the Walt Disney World is part of the fun! My daughters love a trip on the Disney Skyliner or a ride on the monorail. Take a look at your options below for each scenario you listed in your question.

    1. Bus transportation is not available from Disney Springs to any of the theme parks. If you find yourself at Disney Springs and need to make it to a park, you'll need to take a bus to a Disney Resorts hotel and then utilize the appropriate mode of transportation to get to the park you want to go to. This may be in the form of a bus, monorail, boat, Skyliner, or potentially by foot.
    2. Bus transportation is available from park to park during Park Hopper hours. Certain parks also have other ways to get back and forth from each other. For example, to travel back and forth from EPCOT to Disney's Hollywood Studios, you can utilize the Disney Skyliner throughout the day. You'll need to use the International Gateway entrance in EPCOT for this service. To transport from the Magic Kingdom to EPCOT and vice versa, you can take the monorail to do so.
    3. There is currently no bus transportation from one Disney Resorts hotel to another. Depending on where you stay, you can use other modes of transportation to get back and forth. The Resort Monorail connects three different Deluxe Disney Resorts hotels. The Disney Skyliner also will take you to several different resorts. If you are staying in a Disney Resorts hotel along this path, you can hop back and forth between a few.

Rebecca, since this is your first visit, make sure to visit the Disney Parks Blog to read about all the fun happenings that will be taking place during your visit. This site is a great resource for all Guests spending time at Walt Disney World who want to be informed on all the latest details!

Have a magical holiday! See ya real soon!
