First timer -- Stroller question. We have 3 kids (9,5,3). Feel that the 5 and 3 year old will want/need a stroller. We will be renting from off-site and have it delivered to our room for the week. Considering transportation: should we rent the double jog s

    Hi Jennifer!

Your kids are just about the age mine were on our last vacation (8, 5, and just turned 3)!  We used our single Maclaren stroller on our last vacation, and it worked out just fine!  The kids traded off, (if your 3 year old is anything like mine the "I DO IT" phase is in full effect!) and we never had kids arguing over who rode and who walked.

I'd say if your 5 year old is used to walking while out and about, you should be ok with a single.  If they like to be strolled around, then I'd go with a double.  The singles are definitely easier to maneuver on and off the buses, but lugging around a tired 5 year old is 10,000 times more work than folding a double stroller a few times!

    Have a magical vacation!
