First timer going to Disneyland! Seasoned Disney World Family. I'm looking for a place that rents "Special Needs" Strollers in Anaheim. I need a stroller that will hold up to about 115 lbs. Thanks!

    Hiya, Jenifer!

What a great question. Thanks for bringing it to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. While there are stroller rentals and wheelchair rentals available directly from the Disneyland Resort, these offerings may not be the most appropriate for some special needs guests. I recommend contacting the Disney Resort featured provider ScooterBug at (800) 726-8284. Their available rentals include special strollers for adaptive needs that have a carrying capacity of up to 200 pounds. I’m hopeful that will be just what you need for your stroller needs.

As experienced Walt Disney World Resort guests, you’ll be happy to find that many of the same services that you may have used to make your theme park visits smoother are also available at the Disneyland Resort. Services such as Rider SwitchBaby Care Centers, and First Aid Centers may come in handy. Disney FASTPASS at Disneyland Resort works similar to the way things were at Walt Disney World before the introduction of FastPass+. And Disney MaxPass is a wonderful service that helps maximize your FASTPASS experience. MaxPass even includes complimentary downloads of all your Disney PhotoPass photos, much like Memory Maker.

I’m really excited about your first visit to “Walt Disney’s Original Magic Kingdom.” As a Disney Parks fan, you may be interested in experiencing the "Walk in Walt's Disneyland Footsteps" Guided Tour. It’s a wonderful adventure of history, nostalgia, and Disney magic. Another great option is The Grand Circle Tour. The Grand Circle Tour, like the "Walk in Walt's Disneyland Footsteps" Guided Tour, is also filled with history and wonderful stories of Walt and his love of trains. My family and I took this guided tour this past Spring. As coincidence would have it, the announcement of the 2022 arrival of Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway at Disneyland Park was made while we were enjoying a ride aboard the Lilly Belle. It was a great way to celebrate the wonderful legacy of Walt Disney at his “world of yesterday, tomorrow and fantasy.”

I hope you have a magical time, Jenifer!
