First timer here!! We are catching the briteline train Orlando and an Uber to Magic Kingdom. I was wondering where would we get dropped off at and where could we get our first timer pins when we arrive? Also do you have any other tips?

    Hello, Sieanna!

Can you believe it? You’re just days away from your magical adventure! I’d be absolutely giddy with excitement if I were you!

Let’s talk about getting to the Magic Kingdom. If you’re using a ride-share service like Uber or Lyft, you’ll be dropped off at the Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC) which sits across the sparkling Seven Seas Lagoon from the park entrance. There, you’ll pass through security before hopping on either the Monorail or the Ferryboat for a quick and scenic ride to the Magic Kingdom gates. Pro tip: Take the ferry! Nothing compares to that first breathtaking view of Cinderella Castle glistening across the water as you sail toward the magic.

Once you arrive, you’ll pass under the Walt Disney World Railroad and step onto Main Street, U.S.A. To your left, you’ll find City Hall, where friendly Cast Members can provide park maps and, most importantly, your First Visit pin! Wear it proudly; you never know what extra pixie dust it might bring.

    My Top Three First-Timer Tips
Tip #1: You Can’t Do It All!
Magic Kingdom is bursting with adventures, so go in with a plan. Make a list of your must-do attractions and focus on those.

Tip #2: Arrive Early for “Rope Drop”!
Get to the park at least an hour before opening for the best chance to experience top rides with minimal wait times. Fun fact: The term “rope drop” comes from when Cast Members would literally drop a rope to open the park! These days, they simply move them aside, but the name and the strategy still holds.

Tip #3: Consider Lightning Lane Passes!
If you want to maximize your time, check out Lightning Lane Multi-Pass or Single Pass options. They can be game changers in reducing wait times for the most popular attractions.

I could share 1,001 more tips, but I’ll save those for another day! For now, soak up the excitement and get ready for a magical adventure.

    See ya real soon!
