Hi Reena,
Welcome to planDisney, we are so happy you stopped by with your vacation planning question! Your adventure is almost here, I bet you are getting so excited. You will be visiting during the final month of Walt Disney World's historic
50th Anniversary Celebration for your first visit, how amazing is that?
Gawrsh, what a great question you have for me today about whether you should purchase
Park Hopper Option for your tickets. Truly, you cannot go wrong with either decision so let your gut instinct with your vacation style be your guide is my advice. There is so much to see and do in each theme park that it really is impossible to "do everything" in each park in one day. That is part of the reason why it is so fun for me to visit, there are still things I haven't experienced since my first visit on my honeymoon in 1996! Personally Reena, I'm frugal by nature and do not always purchase Park Hopper Option for my family's tickets unless I am quite certain we will be "Park Hopping". I do it this way because I know I can always add the option later and it is quite simple to do within
My Disney Experience Mobile App. You can even add extra days within My Disney Experience App if you like! You just open up the app, select the tickets you would like to modify and then select the
Change Ticket Option. It really is super easy to do, as I confess I added an extra day to my own ticket a few months ago so I could pack in some more Magic before my flight home.
One other thing I want to mention, most likely your visit will coincide with the
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival. This is a truly stunning festival, and the
topiaries are works of art that you will want to stop and admire. My family's first visit to Walt Disney World was during the late spring, and it is one of my all-time favorite vacation memories!
Wishing you a Magical vacation,
Brenda
