first time to WDW..we have the dining plan 1quick service meal ,1 diner meal..How do we tip? % wise. we have reservations for a few Buffets...thanks

    Hi Margaret,

Congratulations on taking your very first trip to Walt disney World - you are going to have so much fun!

Walt Disney World restaurants do have a 'suggested' tip amount listed on your bill which you receive at the end of each Table-Service meal. For parties of 8 guests or more, a minimum of 18% is expected and automatically added to your bill - you can still choose to tip more than that amount if you feel that you have received exceptional service and would like to do so.

On bills for parties of 7 or less dining at a Table-Service location, a tip amount of both 18% and 20% will be listed below your meal totals (whether you are on the Disney Dining Plan or not) and you can simply circle one of these amounts to indicate the amount that you would like to leave as a tip.

Wishing you a magical trip filled with memories which will last a lifetime!
