First time in WDW without dining plan. Do most of the snack carts (ice cream, etc.) take disney gift cards? We would prefer not to carry too much cash. Thanks for your help!

    Hi Tracy!!!

Yes, most snack/free standing carts do take either a Disney Gift Card, Credit Card, or your Key to the World Card.  I will usually carry around about $20 cash just in case I run into a cart that does not take a card.  I would recommend not carrying around your Disney Gift Card while in the parks.  Your Disney Gift Card is just like cash and I would hate if you lost or misplaced it.  I would suggest charging everything to your Key to the World Card(s) and then paying off your balance with your Disney Gift Card on the last evening of your vacation.  We just did this on a recent vacation and it worked great!!

Please let me know if you have any further questions!!

    Have a magical trip!!
