Hi!. is our first time at WDW and we are stayng at the Grand Floridian club level outer building. At checking in i can make 2 request options, what buildings should i request? we are 2 adults and a 3 yr old child. Thanks!

    Hi Lucia,

How exciting to visit Walt Disney World for the first time! Be sure to stop by Guest Relations at the parks and ask for "First Visit" buttons! Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa is a beautiful property. All of the buildings at the Grand Floridian are named after islands in the Florida Keys. Club Level-Outer Building is located in Sugar Loaf Key.

When I am thinking about room requests, I like to think about views and room location. In Sugar Loaf Key you have a choice of a courtyard pool view or a marina view. Both views are lovely but I have to admit I like the marina view a bit better. For room location, do you prefer a higher floor or lower floor? Or you might ask for a room close to the elevator.

We have stayed in the Sugar Loaf Building and the cast members were so kind and attentive. I'm sure your first visit is going to be filled with magical memories!

Thank you for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question!
    Wishing you a magical vacation,
