hi First time to WDW. There are so many options for dining. What Character dining would you recommend for girls ages 9 - 11? Also which "princess" dining do you recommend Cinderellas table or the Norway/epcot one, or be my guest or other?

    Hi Lisa,

There are many fun options for character dining at Walt Disney World! One that you and your girls may enjoy is 'Ohana at Disney's Polynesian Resort. At breakfast, 'Ohana offers Best Friends Breakfast featuring Lilo and Stitch. This delicious, plated breakfast features all-you-care-to-eat Polynesian and American fare. Another character dining experience that my family enjoys is Cape May Cafe. Located at Disney's Beach Club, Cape May Cafe offers a breakfast buffet and a seafood dinner buffet, and you may meet characters such as Minnie Mouse and Goofy in beach gear.

For the princess dining, both Cinderella's Royal Table and Akershus Royal Banquet Hall are great options. I would recommend Cinderella's Royal Table simply because it is classic. Dining in a castle at the Magic Kingdom Park with princesses - it doesn't get any more magical than that! We have also been to Akershus Royal Banquet Hall and it was lovely and delicious as well. Please note that Be Our Guest Restaurant is not offering character dining. It is simply beautiful, though, and I do recommend it!

For any of the above dining experiences, I suggest making reservations as soon as you can. These are very popular experiences and fill up quickly. You can make reservations by calling 407-WDW-DINE (407-939-3463) or at Disney dining online. Also please be advised that characters are always subject to change at character dining locations.

I hope that this information is helpful in planning your first trip to Walt Disney World, Lisa! Please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions.
