This is our first time going to WDW and I'm taking my son who has CP. We're staying Sept 6-10. I have a few questions, first what's the best transportation between DTD and BLT? Can u leave your wheelchair outside when u go on a ride,vs having to take?

    Hi Maryann!

Congratulations on your first trip!  How exciting!!  The best way to get to Downtown Disney from Bay Lake Towers is the bus.  Disney operates busses that will take you to the parks AND Downtown Disney.  They arrive every 20 minutes or so.

As far as rides and attractions, your son will transfer to a ride vehicle in most cases, and his wheelchair will be left outside.  Most rides have an alternate entrance for guests traveling with wheelchairs for your convenience.  If you have any questions about where to enter, just ask a Cast Member at the ride/attraction entrance.

    Have a magical vacation!
