We are going for the first time to WDW on AUG8-13, I already paid the vacation package thru the travel agency. What are your suggestions in getting the dining plan Will I save? Its one adult me and two boys(11yrold and 7yrd old).

    Hi Irma!

If you're considering doing a few character meals over what sounds like a 5-night stay, I would definitely say the Disney Dining Plan is worth it. I say the Dining Plan (also known as the Basic or Standard Dining Plan) over the others because the Quick Service won't entitle you to any table service meals, and the Deluxe Plan is just too much eating :-) The Basic Dining Plan is a good blend of the other 2, and most importantly, it will save you 20% during the time of your trip (as compared to what you would pay if paying out of pocket). The biggest challenge is always paying that up-front cost. But if you can get around that, I feel you've made a wise decision. Just remember to plan all your meals out BEFORE your visit, so that way you don't miss out on any meals that you've already paid for. But since you say you have 2 boys, I don't think that will be a problem at all :-)

You and family have a magical time on your visit!
