First time at Walt Disney World. I have no idea how to start planning. Advice? Bringing 6 year old and 4 year old and big kid husband. We have a place to stay.

    Greetings, Joy!

Congratulations on your first Walt Disney World Resort vacation!

It sounds like you know when you'll be visiting and that you have a place to stay, so my next recommendation is to decide on tickets. How many days will you want to visit the parks and will you want to visit more than one park per day? Once you decide on Theme Park Tickets, you can take a look at the online calendar and begin trying to decide which park you want to visit each day. With little ones especially, it can become a bit overwhelming trying to plan and do it all, but don't worry, we're here to help. You definitely won't be able to do everything, so pick out your favorites and create a plan around them. After tickets, then comes thinking about dining and then FastPass+ selections on select attractions.

For your first visit, I'd recommend sticking with one park/day to help you not feel so overwhelmed. I also suggest looking through the attractions ahead of time so you have an idea of which ones make your must-do list. Last, I recommend planning one Character Dining Experience as the photos and interactions are priceless.

While I hope I've given you some ideas to start with, my planning tips are a bit vague so that I was able to touch on everything. I'd love to help you plan your fairy tale from start to finish, so please send us in another question and let me (or any panelist) know where you want to start.

Happy planning, Joy! Hope to hear from you soon.
