Hi Joe! I love your question! Your level of planning makes my heart so happy!!
Chef Mickey's is a must do for our family vacations! I know your kiddos will love every magical moment of your breakfast!
While getting to any of the theme parks is easy to do from any Resort hotel, my recommendation is for you to visit Magic Kingdom Park on the day you dine at Chef Mickey's. You will find Chef Mickey's in the heart of Disney's Contemporary Resort. When your dining experience concludes you can either take the
Monorail to Magic Kingdom Park or make the short walk from Disney's Contemporary Resort to Chef Mickey's. When my kiddos were around the ages of yours, they loved taking the Monorail any chance they could get. As they are getting older, they prefer to take the short walk to Magic Kingdom Park. We love the convenience!
If visiting Magic Kingdom Park on the same day that you visit Chef Mickey's doesn't fit within your schedule, that's not a problem at all. You can also take the Monorail to Epcot via one transfer to another Monorail at the Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC). If you prefer to visit Disney's Hollywood Studios or Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, you can hop on a
bus to either theme park following your meal.
One note, Chef Mickey's is a very popular restaurant. I encourage you to make your reservation as soon as your booking window opens. You can do so online or by calling (407) 939-1947.
I hope this helps you as you plan your itinerary. Please let me know if you need any other information as you plan your magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
