Hi! We will be first time visitors to WDW October 5-12, 2013. I am noticing that some of the entertainment says that there are no showtimes. Do shows (i.e. Voyage of The Little Mermaid, Circus Giggle Gang, etc) show even during the slower season? Thanks!

    Hi Tammy,

You must be excited for your vacation. Summer is going to fly by, and you'll be in Walt Disney World before you know it!

Most performers and shows occur throughout the year, even during the slower times. I haven't seen the Giggle Gang yet, but my guess is that they'll be there when you visit. Their schedule probably hasn't been set that far out. I actually checked the performance times for mid-July (when the park is the busiest), and they're not listed at that time either, so I'm guessing that information is just not available yet.

Voyage of the Little Mermaid is an attraction that can be seen at any time of year, unless it's closed for refurbishment, which isn't the case right now. The 17 minute show can be seen throughout the day.

I think you'll love an October Disney vacation. The weather is warm, the crowds are relatively light, and you'll still get to experience all of that fun Disney magic!

Hope this helps. Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
