We are first time visitors to Disney bringing our grandchildren 6 &10 in a few weeks. What are some must know and do things?

I'm thrilled to hEAR of your family's first visit to the Walt Disney World Resort, Mary!

Not knowing whether you have already booked a hotel, I would say start building a Magic Your Way Vacation Package by selecting one of the fabulous Disney Resort hotels. If you are on a tight budget, I suggest a Disney Value Resort hotel, and please don't forget to check any Special Offers that may be applied to your dates.

Do select multi-day Tickets, then make FastPass+ selections and book dining reservations - including Character Dining - through your My Disney Experience account. I also recommend adding the Memory Maker option and buying tickets for Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party (for a day you won't be visiting the parks during the day). This special event is a definite "must do" for families visiting in the fall.

The above being said, I suggest focusing on what's most important to your family. Wishing you a most memorable first visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!
