We are first time visitors coming in April. My son has peanut/tree nut allergies and we are staying at the Beach Club Resort. where can I get peanut/nut free ice cream and meals? We are on a meal plan

    Hello Tamie,
I'm thrilled to know that you and your lovely family will be visiting Walt Disney World Resort for the very first time next month, you must be getting so very excited!
You have already made some excellent choices by opting to lodge at one of my favorite spots; Disney's Beach Club Resort and also by choosing to eat using the Disney Dining Plan.
In my opinion the very best place to go for an amazing ice cream treat is the Beaches & Cream Soda Shop; which can be found right there in your Resort!
I'm delighted to advise that Guests with food allergies are extremely well catered for during their Walt Disney World Resort vacations.  Before selecting an ice cream or ordering anything from a restaurant menu it's possible to request a consultation with a Disney Chef who will be happy to assist in making appropriate food choices for your son. Each Disney dining location will do it's very best to allay your concerns and accommodate your son's peanut and tree nut allergies.
Be sure to check out the Special Dietary Requests webpage for further information.
If I can help you make further plans for your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation please don't hesitate to come back and ask me another question.
    Have a great Disney day.
