First time visitor. Going with 4 kids. staying off premises. Have water park passes. My question is what do i carry during day, alot or a litlle or nothing? are there lockers? We do not have hopper so we will be staying at one park each day. THANKS!!

    Hi Thomas!

Congratulations on your upcoming trip!  First visits are extra magical, so be sure to celebrate yours by picking up some free, "First Visit" pins at Guest Relations at any park, and wear them proudly during your trip!

I'm convinced that my boys are part fish, and, consequently, we include at least one visit to Blizzard Beach and/or Typhoon Lagoon on each Disney vacation!  Both parks have plenty of lockers available for rent during your visit.  As for what to carry, we generally bring in a soft cooler bag with water and juice boxes, as well as lunch and snacks for the day. (Please note, glass containers and alcoholic beverages may not be carried in.)  You'll notice that this is very common, as many people "set up camp" and spend the better part of the day at the water parks.  Many guests bring in their own food to save money on concessions while at the parks, however, there are quick service restaurants throughout both parks that offer a wide variety of options if you prefer to buy food.

In addition to any food, I recommend bringing your own towels, as the water parks charge for towel rentals.  Sunscreen, sunglasses and a change of clothes (if you prefer to travel back to your hotel dry) are also always in my "water park bag".  Life jackets are available, free of charge to any guest.

Have a great time splashing around!
