Hi, first time visitor from Ireland with 4 &6 year old planning a trip to Disney Orlando for 2-3 days. Can I book accommodation on site for this duration? Also any suggested itineraries? Thanks

    Hello Brid,

Oh boy!  Brid, I'm so excited to hear that you and your dear family are planning on your 1st ever visit to the magic of Walt Disney World Resort!  And as the current UK-based planDisney Panelist, it's my absolute pleasure to be offering a little pixie-dusted assistance today to a Guest from the beautiful Emerald Isle.

With so much to do in Orlando at Walt Disney World Resort, I just know that you're going to be spoilt for a choice of which Enchanting Extra to enjoy first during your few days visiting the most magical place on earth this coming April.

There are so many ways in which Guests can opt to tour the Disney Theme Parks, and I think as long as you take your time to soak in the magic at every given opportunity, there really is no right or wrong way to plan an itinerary.  You'll discover some great planning tips and tricks within our Panel Extras, including some ideas for itineraries and some super useful Disney Resort Hotel Pocket Guides too!

When booking online via the Walt Disney Travel Company, Guests are welcome to book holiday packages of 5 or more nights in duration.  However, it's always possible to speak in person on the phone with a helpful Cast Member to book a shorter stay for your family in a Disney Resorts Collection hotel.

To connect with a Cast Member with whom you can discuss your particular holiday needs, simply dial the IE freephone number for Disney Resort Hotel Reservations contained within this handy Walt Disney World Resort Phone Directory.

To further help with your planning Brid, and to build on the excitement of going to visit with Mickey and Minnie Mouse, you may wish to check out these FREE Holiday Planning Tools which at present includes the Big Little Book of Magic that can be viewed online or downloaded as a PDF.

I hope that I've been able to provide a little zip-a-dee-doo-dah insight for you today!  If you should have any further questions at all, then please don't hesitate to pop back to me here at planDisney.

Have a great Disney day ~ Jane
