It's our first time visiting with our 4 year old daughter during the first week of November. We are on a budget so we will drive there. We will be there for 5 days. How many or what passes shall I buy and where shall we stay.

    Hi, Ana!

With just days until your arrival, I am hoping you already have your accommodations booked. But, if not, we'll get you set-up with a magical vacation!

Your first call should be to a friend Disney Reservationist at (407)W-DISNEY.  Let him/her know your travel dates and ask what they have available at a Value Resort (the most economical resorts).  I suggest Pop Century, although one of the All-Star Resorts may have rooms a bit cheaper.  Ask the reservationist to add on 4 day base tickets.  Do not add on pricey options like park hopping or water parks to keep within your budget.

For a special treat, during your call ask if there is any availability for a character dining experience. Your daughter might enjoy the Crystal Palace in the Magic Kingdom or Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary, just a short walk from the Magic Kingdom. Breakfast is usually the most budget friendly buffet, but book whatever you prefer.

Once you arrive at your resort, feel free to keep your car parked and take the Disney buses around. This will be a nice break from driving and no worrying about how to get to the parks.

I hope this is a start!  Good luck planning your magical vacation in Walt Disney World!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
