This will be my first time visiting WDW ! With my 5 yr. Old . What would be a great time to visit ?

    Hi there, Karen!

Bar none, my favorite time of the year to visit Walt Disney World is between mid-January and mid-February; think, just after Marathon weekend through just before President's Day weekend.

Because so many children are in school, you'll find attendance to be much lower than even "average" times at Disney. This means shorter lines for rides, attractions, and characters. It also generally means that dining reservations will be in good supply.

The weather is nice and cool, with low humidity, and typically very low rain chances. Sometimes, though, if the Florida winter is mild, you can find yourself ready for some time in the heated pool at your Disney Resort hotel.

This time of the year is my ideal, and my strong recommendation for you and your little one.

    Have a wonderful trip!

    See you later, celebrator,
    -Deborah B.
