    First time visiting WDW and taking my son who wil b 3yrs old during the wk of Xmas 2010. Thinking aout the Polynesian Resort. I'm looking for something on the monorail, eye popping atmosphere for my son and great pools for children his age. Your thoughts?

    Regina I think you have made a great decision!!!!  The Polynesian resort fits all the things you are wanting. It is certainly eye popping in the fact that you will feel like you just stepped off the plane in Hawaii with the flora and fauna resembling our great state in the Pacific.  Disney works hard to have every detail fit the theme and although this is one of the oldest resorts on property you would never know it as the rehabs have taken great care to keep the ambience in tact!

    The pools are also wonderful and full of fun things for the children to enjoy. The slide and waterfall volcano pool is unique and add to that a beautiful white sand beach where the kids can enjoy making their sand castles makes this is a perfect spot for families.
