First time visiting WDW in November 2011, with 14yr and 6 yr boys, what is the best place to stay, were looking at Coronado, Caribbean, Port Orleans and maybe Wilderness Lodge, looking for best location to access all parks.

    Hi Kelly!

My family's favorite resort is the Wilderness Lodge.  It's got a great location and it's close to the Magic Kingdom.  Both of my children absolutely love the theming of the resort.  The price to stay at the Wilderness Lodge is also slightly less than the other monorail resorts.  I highly recommend it.

That said, another resort to consider is the Beach and Yacht Club resorts.  They share Stormalong Bay, which in my opinion is the best hotel pool at Walt Disney World.  It's like a mini-water park and even has a sand bottom pool!  It's fabulous.  My boys could spend the entire vacation in Stormalong Bay.  Both resorts are Deluxe Resorts and within walking distance of both Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios.

However, since you mostly mentioned Moderate Resorts in your question, you should also consider Port Orleans Riverside.  It's my favorite Moderate Resort.  The atmosphere, especially the Alligator Bayou section, is great.  They also have a nice pool, cane pole fishing, and boat transportation to Downtown Disney.  Taking the boat at night is very relaxing and Downtown Disney at night is a lot of fun!

Write back if you have any more questions and good luck!
