Hi ALL! This will be our first time visiting WDW! Even mine! I have two toddlers, ages 2 and 3. I saw some of you saying you did split stay between resorts but I was wondering if any of you did splits stays in the same hotel just different themed rooms?

    Hi Tori,

Thank you for your question and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I love helping Guests plan their First Trip to the Walt Disney World Resort and I’m sure that a trip with toddlers will be extra magical!

I’ve done a split stay within the same Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, more specifically, at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge. We stayed in a Standard View room for the first half of our stay and a Savanna View room for the second half and we were lucky enough to have a pretty seamless transition between the two halves of our vacation.  We left our first room in the morning to visit one of the Theme Parks, and came back to a new room later that day, after spending a few hours at our Resort’s pool.

If you’re interested in a split stay, I would encourage you to book your vacation by phone or by using the services of an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner in order to make sure that your room reservations are linked together properly.

Happy planning and please don’t hesitate to come back and visit us if you have any other questions!

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
