It will be our first time visiting so I've been thinking we may not really need the extra expense with the Park Hopper (as you suggested). However, we have one preschooler and two teens (older). Does that change your advice?

    Welcome back Vicki!

We just love return visitors at the Moms Panel and I do an extra happy dance when I find questions in my personal queue.  Thanks for posting your follow-up question.

Hmmmm.  Yes, I've thought about your question for a couple of hours.  I find myself wondering if your older teens are at an age where they might want to do some exploring on their own in the evenings after the preschooler and an adult or two may have retired back to your home resort.  Even if this were the case, however, the teens could still go off and have a fun evening without having to hop to another park.  Although Disney's Animal Kingdom typically closes earlier than the other parks, there's still the option to go explore Downtown Disney that night without the need for an admission ticket.  There are also miniature golf courses and fun things to do at the Disney resorts.  None of these activities require you to have the park hopper option on your theme park tickets.  I think you'll be just fine with the Magic Your Way tickets that afford you admission to one major theme park per day during your stay.  If you need advice regarding how to spend your theme park days, just ask!

Having the Magic Your Way tickets means you'll want to plan out in advance which parks you'll visit each day so that you can make your dining plans appropriately.  If you need help with this, just let us know what dates you plan to visit and we'll be happy to guide you.  You know where to find us.

It has been lovely communicating with you!
