First time visiting the park with a 2year old. What activities are recommended for our first visit?

    Greetings, Elena!

I am so excited for your first Disneyland Resort visit with your little Mouseketeer! There’s something so magical about seeing the Parks through the eyes of a child.

As a mom of a 2 year old, I can relate! I would recommend getting an early start to enjoy must-do attractions with smaller crowds. There are more than 60 attractions at both Parks without height restrictions, so your little one won’t get bored! My son adores riding the Disneyland Railroad and the Disneyland Monorail. This is a great way to explore Disneyland Park while also taking a break!

I highly recommend downloading the Disneyland app and utilizing Disney MaxPass and Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering. Both are big time savers, especially with impatient toddlers! You can also use the app to locate Characters for meet-and-greets.

One of my favorite spots for my little guy to get his wiggles out is Mickey’s Toontown. Here, preschoolers can explore and run without large crowds. Mickey and Minnie's Houses are the cutest!

In Disney California Adventure Park, don’t miss the Disney Junior Dance Party!, it’s a favorite of my family. Kids get to watch Characters dance and sing onstage while they groove along to familiar tunes. Cars Land is also a must!

Last but not least, when your little one needs to be changed, fed, or to just take a break, head to a Baby Care Center. They even have tiny toilets for potty training!

    Wishing you a pixie-dusted visit!

Meet the Panelist: Kristin, California

Hello from sunny California! I currently live less than an hour from the Disneyland Resort, and have been an Annual Passholder for more than 20 years! As a mom of three kids under the age of 8, I consider myself an expert at navigating the Disneyland Resort with little ones. My family of five can’t get enough of the magic and happiness we encounter every time we step foot on Main Street, U.S.A. I look forward to sprinkling pixie dust on your next visit to the Happiest Place on Earth!
