This will be our first time visiting Disney World without a stroller. Usually, I bring a small, soft sided cooler for our lunches, and also water bottles for the 6 of us. I am wondering if a rolling duffel is allowed in the park? Thanks!

    Hi Jana,

The first Disney Parks vacation without a stroller is always a little strange at first. You get so used to having that extra space to carry items. There are certain size limitations for bags. Suitcases, coolers or backpacks with or without wheels larger than 24" (61 cm) long x 15" (38 cm) wide x 18" (46 cm) high are prohibited from the parks. You can read a list of all prohibited items by clicking the link.

I can say from personal experience rolling around a bag of any size is quite difficult in the parks. It's hard for other guests to see your bag and it will get stepped on or tripped over. I suggest storing your cooler in a locker and retrieving it when it is time for lunch, if you're able. It will save you the hassle of carrying it around the parks and you can find a quiet spot near the lockers to enjoy your lunch.

I hope you'll come back and see us again, Jana.

    Have a magical day,
