First time visiting Disney - what is the best meal plan?

Hi, Zita!  Welcome to Walt Disney World!   I hope you are enjoying planning your first magical vacation!

If you do not like to plan ahead and just want to grab quick meals and continue on with the fun, then the Quick Service Plan would be the best option for you.   This gives you the most flexibility, but does not include Table Service Meals or Character Dining.

I prefer the Base Disney Dining Plan.   For each night of your stay, this plan includes 1 Table Service Meal, 1 Quick Service Meal, and 1 Snack Option.   With this, you can enjoy a wonderful table service meal and even dine with Mickey!    If you choose this option, I highly recommend make Advance Dining Reservations ahead of time as restaurants do fill up quickly.

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
